Thamanna is currently pairing with Dhanush in the film Vengai directed by Hari. In Telugu she is acting with Allu Arjun, Naga Chaitanya and Junior NTR. Recently when Thamanna participated in a function she was asked what kind of foods she likes.

She said,"I like Italian foods very much. Because of this I am learning to cook Italian foods. Most of the time, I like drinking juices. Though I am fond of South Indian food, I don’t eat it very much.
The reason for this is that there are lots of fat contents. But it is not so in the case of Italian foods. That is why I am learning to cook Italian food.
That doesn’t mean that I am eating a lot of Italian food. I eat everything with limitations. You can see this from my physique itself."She also added that she wanted a soft hearted husband.
