Karthika asks her not to be identified as Radha’s daughter

Karthika is the daughter of the yester year heroine Radha. She has debuted as heroine through the film Ko. She while speaking to the media said,"When seeing the film Ko, see me as a new face. Don’t see me as Radha’s daughter.

Don’t compare her with me. The background of my mother will be useful for my debuting. But I can withstand with my own talents. 20 years back itself my mother had acted wearing swim suits and glamour apparels. If the story demands I will also act like that.

My mother and her sister Ambika had proved their talents individually. Since I grew seeing them, you can see both their talents in me. Though I am acting in other South Indian languages, I am proud that I am acting in Tamil films.
