A boy who changed Shreya’s mind

Shreya while speaking to the media said,"I am acting in Deepa Mehta’s Midnight Children, Jeeva starrer Roudram and Mohanlal’s Casanova. The film Midnight Children is based on the novel written Salman Rushdie. All the roles of his novel are attractive.

I have read this novel many times. I am not in a position to reveal my role in this film. When I studied in college in Mumbai I used to go by bus. One day I took a wrong direction bus by mistake. When I alighted at the next stop, I was not able to know what was that place.

I saw some blind boys playing cricket. I asked one of the boys and asked him the way. Immediately he said,"How did you come here?". I told him that I took the wrong bus.

He said,"Though I am blind I am able to sense which side is the ball coming and I am able to strike it. But how is it that you took the wrong bus?"This question made me think. At the same time, I also got an idea. That is I wanted render help to blind people. That is why even now I am indulged in charitable social activities."
