Taapsee says that she is confident that she can shine in Bollywood

Taapsee who is now on the top in South Indian films is foraying into Hindi films. She says that she will has the confidence that she will shine in Hindi films like in Tamil and Telugu films. Taapsee who hails from Ludhiana made her debut as heroine in Tamil through the Tamil film Aadukalam. She had captivated the Tamil audience through her first Tamil film itself.

Now she is pairing with Jeeva in the Tamil film Vandhan Vendran. Most of the leading actors in the Tamil film industry are eager to pair with her. Apart from Tamil, she is busy acting in Telugu and Malayalam films. At this point of time she has got the opportunity to act in a Hindi film. This is the remake of the romantic comedy Hindi film titled Chashme Buddoor which was released in 1981.David Dhawan is directing this film. Taapsee is doing the female lead role in this film.

Taapsee while speaking about acting in this Hindi film said,"I am very happy that I am acting in a Hindi film. That also I am donning the role which Deepthi Naval did in the original version. This film will get me a good place in Hindi. I will also excel in Hindi also. I have that confidence."
