Chaya Singh is donning dual roles in the TV serial titled Nagamma which is telecast in Sun TV. When asked her that why she has switched over to small screen from big screen, she said,"I am not acting in TV serials because I am not getting offers in cinema.

I will be acting in many films if I had agreed to act in all kinds of roles. I am not getting the roles which I expect. I got the expected role in the TV serial. So I am acting in it. Once if you take up acting, we should not distinguish between big and small screen.
Many of the Bollywood actors and actresses have come to main stream cinema after acting in small screen. In Tamil, the actors who have won in the big screen are also shining in the small screen as well. It does not mean that I will not act in cinema because I am acting in TV serial."
