Bhaanu says that she is ready for lip to lip kiss

Bhaanu had danced Bharathanatiyam with thousand artists in the film Ponnar Shankar. She while speaking to the media said,"I was not seen in films because of my father. He was a great hurdle to my career. Because of this I was not able to do anything.

Now I have started talking to production houses directly without the intervention of my father. Now everything seems to be right. Now I am a free bird. Everybody can call me and speak to me directly. Many are asking me that after dancing for a Kuthu song how was it possible for me to do Bharathanatiyam in Ponnar Shankar.

Hari sir asked me to dance for a Kuthu song which began with the lines Karuppana Kaiya. Because of this I danced for the Kuthu song. But I had learnt Bharathanatiyam systematically. But what to do, everybody wanted me to dance like I did in Thamirabharani. Even recently I told S A Chandrasekaran sir that I would like to dance without showing my navel. So he also agreed and I danced for the song Rathiri Nerathu Poojai.

I got the full opportunity to show my skill in Ponnar Shankar. I like to do these kinds of roles. There is also a question that whether I will act in kissing sequence because Priyamani has commented that there is nothing wrong in it. Priyamani is a senior artist. It is also surprising for me that she has commented like that. But at the same time I also ready to kiss if the script is good and if actors like Simbhu, Arya or Dhanush are in the lead roles. If I get a good script, I am ready for lip to lip kiss. I will show what Bhaanu is at that time."
