Hindu Makkal Katchi to send cigarette packets to Sana Khan

Sana Khan recently while speaking said that smoking is good for women and they can become slim. The members of Hindu Makkal Katchi in order to protest have planned to send cigarette packet parcels to Sana Khan.

Sana Khan has debuted as heroine through the film Silambattam. Recently a press meet was held for the success of the film Payanam which had Nagarjuna, Prakash Raj, M S Bhaskar, Babloo, Mano Bala, Poonam Kaur and Sana Khan in the cast.

Sana Khan while speaking on this occasion said,"There is nothing wrong in women smoking. If they smoke three cigarettes a day, they can become slimmer."Click here for actress Sana Khan's Photo Gallery

This statement has sparked a big controversy. In the view of the foregoing, the Hindu Makkal Katchi (The Hindu People Party) has decided to protest by sending a parcel containing cigarettes and beedis to Sana Khan.

The State President of this party Mr Kumar in a statement has stated,’ The Government and other NGOs are taking steps to eradicate smoking. But at this point of time Sana Khan has invented that women can become slimmer by smoking three cigarettes a day. It also looks like as if she is supporting smoking. Her statement is highly condemnable. So as a protest we haveproposed to send a parcel containing cigarettes."
