New face Meetha had donned the female lead role in the film Mattuthavani directed by Pavithran. There is news that she is acting in an English film. Meetha while speaking to the media said,"I hail from Andhra. I am studying fashion technology. I am the only daughter. My mother is a housewife and my father Aathisha is a music composer.

Music composer Deva and my father had stayed in the same room in the earlier days. Now my father is composing music for the Tamil film Nalvaravu. Right from my young age I had interest to act in films. Because of this I learnt dance, fight, horse riding and driving.

My father and I had been to Pavithran sir’s office once. Pavithran happens to be my father’s friend. Pavithran asked me whether I am interested in acting. Since I had the passion for acting I gave my nod immediately. That is how I got the opportunity to act in Mattuthavani. I am really grateful to Pavithran sir who introduced me in Tamil cinema. About acting experience in Mattuthavani, I should say that this film has the backdrop of Madurai.

I am donning the role of a college student. Ram and Vimal are the two heroes. I am one of the heroines and the other heroine is Mithuna. Many are asking me that whether I am acting in an English film. That film is a Malayalam film dubbed in English. The title of the dubbed film is Silence of Vision. Malayalam actors Fazal and Indiran have donned important roles in this film. Sunil has directed this film. This film is about a person who always dreams. I am donning the role of rich girl who comes in the dream of that person."
