I can't forget my experience pairing up with Vijay says Mithra Suryan

Mithra Suryan is the actress who donned the role of Asin’s friend in the film Kaavalan which had Vijay in the lead role. When asked her that how she got the opportunity to act in Kaavalan, she said,"Everybody knows that Kaavalan is the remake of the Malayalam film Body Guard. I have donned the same role in Kaavalan in which I did in Body Guard.

Siddique who directed Body Guard also directed the Tamil remake. So he asked me to act in the role in Kaavalan in which I did in the original Malayalam film.

Many are asking me about the experience of acting with Vijay. I can never forget the experience of pairing with Vijay. I am very happy because that my first Tamil film itself happens to be with Vijay. I should say that this also happened because of God’s grace. Another happiest thing is that acting with Asin. Asin is a very big actress. I was a bit scared initially.

I was worried that how she will move with me. But she moved with me very friendly as if I was her old friend. You have seen our friendship in the film; the same chemistry was also there behind the camera also. There is also a question that how I am speaking Tamil so well.

I like Tamil very much. Because of this I watch lots of Tamil film. I learnt Tamil by seeing films. No one taught me Tamil. I can speak Tamil but I don’t know how to write or read. But I am not capable of dubbing in Tamil. Somebody else dubbed for me in Kaavalan. Since I got the opportunity to act in Tamil film, I will continue to act in Tamil films.

I vehemently condemn the baseless rumors about me. There were some rumors that I had connection with drug peddlers. Someone who wants to take revenge on me is spreading such rumors. I don’t know who is behind this and I don't have any connection with these rumors. I have broken down every time I hear this rumor. My mother has been my strength during this had times.

Many comment that 'the present day heroines are not acting like the olden day heroines'. That is because those days films gave importance to heroines, but now the heroines are only used for glamour purposes.

I can bring out my entire acting skills only if I am given a big role, such as Ramya Krishna's role in Padaiyappa.

The super hit Hindi film Three Idiots is being remade in Tamil with the title Nanban. Director Shankar is directing this film. Vijay, Jeeva and Srikanth are starring in this in this film. The shooting of the film commenced few weeks back in Ooty. Ileana is pairing with Vijay. This is the first time Ileana is acting with Vijay. Recently sequences featuring Vijay and Ileana were shot.

Ileana while speaking about this said,"After a long gap I have come to act in a Tamil film. That also I am acting with Vijay. This is the first film I am acting with him. I was scared when I acted with him. But after moving with him I understood that he was a wonderful person. He is a good person. He is so sweet while moving with others. I am very happy that I am pairing with him."

Soundarya says that she is not worried because her scenes are deleted

Soundarya is the second heroine of the film Singam Puli. It is understood that many of her scenes have been deleted. When Soundarya was asked about it, she said,"Some of the sequences in which I have acted are not there. But I am not worried about that.

It is good if you make a compromise for these kinds of things when you act in a good film. Currently I am acting in Tamil films Kandharvan and Mallukattu. In one of the film I am donning the role of a village girl and in the other film I am donning the role of a modern college student.

Sanusha says that she is not against glamour

The reason is that I get good characters. But at the same I am not blaming Malayalam films. I am also getting good roles there also. But my preference is powerful roles and that is why I prefer Tamil cinema.

I am currently acting in Tamil film Ethan and also donning Kishore’s sister role in Parimala Thirai Arangam. I got offers in Telugu films. But I refused them because I did not have call sheet. I am pairing with Dhilip in a Malayalam film titled Mister Marumagan. I don’t have the urgency or desire to act in many films. I want to go slowly to the top.

It is important for me to do variety of roles than acting in many films. There is news that I am refusing to do glamour roles. It is not like that. I also can act in glamour roles. But I should get the opportunity. Is it possible for me to go and ask that I want glamour roles. I am not against glamour. I will do glamour roles wearing the dresses that would suit my physique."

Lakshmi Rai might in James Cameroon’s film

Lakshmi Rai said that she will act in a Hollywood film to be directed by James Cameroon who directed Avatar. Lakshmi Rai is pairing with Mohanlal in a Malayalam film titled Arabiyum, Ottakavum, P. Madhavan Nairum.

The shooting of this film is taking place in Al Kadhina deserts in Abu Dhabi. When the shooting was going on, a special desert jeep stooped at the shooting spot. Priyadarshan and his crew were shocked seeing the jeep. The reason for this was the person who came out of the jeep was the famous Hollywood director James Cameroon who directed films like Avatar and Titanic.

Priyadarshan while speaking about this said,"James Cameroon had come to Abu Dhabi to participate and give a talk about 3D in the Abu Dhabi Media Meet. On hearing the information about his presence I got a dinner appointment the prior day itself from him. At that time itself he mentioned that he wanted to come to the shooting spot and see that how we make films. When he came to the spot the next day, we were all taken aback. He appreciated our way of working and left the place."

Lakshmi Rai while speaking about this said,"I met James Cameroon at the dinner hosted by Priyadarshini got the opportunity to speak to him for a long time. He enquired about Indian cinema and about its trade. I told him that I am a great fan of his films and whether there is any opportunity for me to work with him. He said that he will be directing the Part 2 of Avatar and some more films. There is chance for me to act in any one of these films. I will also be going to California to meet him once again. After this there might be an announcement from Hollywood about me acting there."

But I should earn a good name by doing all kind of roles. When the Telugu film Vedham was made, I was offered a role. But due certain problems I could not act. Director Krish asked me to act in the Tamil remake. I agreed and acted in Vaanam which is the remake of the Telugu film Vedham."
