Samantha had done the female lead role in the Tamil film Moscowin Kaveri. She has also paired with Murali’s son Adharva in the film Bana Kathadi. Amala Paul while speaking about this said,” After Myna I have been receiving lots of offers. I am acting with Vikram in a film directed by Vijay and also with Ganesh Vinayak in the film titled Mupozhuthum Un Karpaniagal.

I am also doing the female lead role in the film Vettai Arambam directed by Lingusamy. Apart from this I am also acting in a film directed Pandiraj. It is true that I was a little bit confused because I had signed lots of films at the same time. But there were no problems with my call sheet.

I did not win in my first film itself. I have had bitter experiences in my first two films. I had labored very hard for two years for the film Myna. Now I am enjoying the fruits. My goal now is to retain the place which the Tamil people have given me. Because of this I am selecting good stories.”

Hansika acts in four films simultaneously

Actress Hansika is acting in four films simultaneously. For the first time Hansika was signed to pair with Dhanush in the film Maapillai. After this she got the opportunity to pair with Jayam Ravi in the film Engeyum Kadhal directed by Prabhu Deva.

Later on she was signed to pair with Vijay in a film. Now she has been signed to pair with producer Udhayanidhi Stalin who is for the first time debuting as a hero in the film titled Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. This film is to be directed by Rajesh who had directed Boss Engira Baskaran. Hansika Motwani is the only person acting in four films simultaneously at a time when none of her films have been released.

Apart from this most of the producers are knocking her doors with their offers.

Sadha says that she has not acted in Tamil films because she did not get good stories

Poongodi marries a cinematographer

Poongodi had been acting in the small screen Malayalam TV serials. She made her debut as heroine in Tamil through the film Veeramum Eeramum. After this she paired with Tarun Gopi in the film Maayandi Kudumbhathar directed by Rasu Madhuravan.

She also did the female lead role in the films Milaga and Gorippalayam. Romance blossomed between Poongodi and assistant cinematographer Vinodh. Vinodh had worked in the film Milaga.

They became very intimate when they were shooting near Tiruparangundram. But there were protests from both their families. They were against this love matter. But Poongodi was firm in her love. She was stubborn that she will marry only Vinodh.

They were searching alliance for her. Because of this she ran away from her house. Vinodh and Poongodi got married clandestinely in Karamanai near Trivandrum. Poongodi had decided to quit acting since she is married.

She while speaking about this said,” I did the kissing scene in Angadi Theru because the story demanded it. Even in the film Magillchi that kissing sequence was required and because of this I had acted in it. Because of this many are asking me that whether there is a kissing scene in my next film and that why I am continuously acting in kissing scenes.

I had acted like this in the two films, because the story demanded it. That does not mean that I will continue to kiss in all my films. I am donning homely roles in the films in which I am currently acting now. All the roles have the scope for acting. I am very thankful to Vasanthabalan for this.

The reason for all these things is because Vasanthabalan gave me a powerful role in Angadi Theru. I have so far acted in five films including one Malayalam film. There is nothing wrong in acting glamorously for the song sequence. Because of this I am acting glamorously in song sequences without exceeding the limits.”

Nayanthara got the best actress award for acting in the Malayalam film Body Guard. This award was given by Asianet.

The popular Malayalam TV channel is giving film awards every year. This year the award function was held in Cochin last Sunday. Amitabh Bachchan and Vijay were the chief guests. Nayanthara was given the best actress award for acting in the film Body Guard.

This film is being remade in Tamil with the title Kaavalan which has Vijay in the lead role. Vijay gave this award to Nayanthara. Nayanthara did not speak anything on the stage. She only expressed her thanks. Popular actor award was given to Dhilip for acting in the film Body Guard. Sandhya injured in a bike accident

Sandhya made her debut in Tamil in the film Kadhal. She continued to act in many films including Koodal Nagar, Dishyum and Mahesh Saranya Mattrum Palar. She is also acting in Telugu and Malayalam films.

Now she is currently acting in the Malayalam film Three Kings. The shooting of this film is taking place near Chalakudi. A scene featuring Indrajith and Sandhya riding a bike was shot.

Since there slush in the road due to heavy rains, the bike skidded. Because of this, Sandhya fell from the bike. She sustained severe injuries in her hand and burns in her leg because of the silence. So immediately she was rushed to hospital. She is being given treatment there.

Sandhya while speaking about this said,” Luckily I escaped from the accident. I have being given treatment in the hospital. I am taking rest in the hotel. I will start acting after I am fully cured.”

Trisha speaks about her forthcoming films

When Trisha was asked about her films, she said,” After Man Madhan Ambu I am acting in Venkat Prabhu’s Mankatha. This is my third film with Ajith sir. This is multi starrer film. There is a lot of scope for acting in this film.

I am expecting that this film will fetch me a good name. The Hindi film Love Aaj Kal is being remade in Telugu. I am pairing with Pawan Kalyan. The present day youth will like this film very much. This film has a different story.

The two in love will part ways saying that romance is not suitable for them. Then they will realize the depth and meaning of their first love. The story has so much depth. I think the audience will definitely like this.

Vanitha is not happy about the Judge’s Order

As per the court orders Vanitha’s son Vijay Sri Hari should have been handed over to her by the boy’s father Akash. The due date was January 5^th. When the hearing came up again, Vanitha pleaded the Judge not to extend the time frame.

Since he know about the childish behaviour at the air port in public by Vanitha, the Judge said that her son may suffer psychological problems due to her behaviour and extended the time frame to another two weeks.

Anushka says no to Bollywood

The Tamil film Singam which had Surya and Anushka in the lead roles is to be remade in Hindi. Rohit Shetty is directing this film. Rohit had approached Anushka to do the role which she did in the Tamil version.

But she has turned down this offer. When asked the people closer to Anushka, one of the mentioned,"Anushka is very busy in South Indian films.

She has good market in Telugu and Tamil film industry. Since she is busy in many films, call sheet problems may arise. So she has friendly told Rohit that it was not possible for her to act in the Hindi version."

Actress Thamannah will not be in Kollywood

After acting with Karthi in the movie Paiyya actress Thamannah is pairing up with Karthi again for the movie Siruthai. This movie is expected to release for Pongal.

The young leading actress also has the movie Vengai with Dhanush on her hand currently.

Sources say she is busy with Telugu films for 2011. So her dates are not available until December 2011.

But all of them asked me whether they can marry me and also mentioned that they will take care of me very well. Most of them who asked me like that were either Malayalees or Tamilians. This made me very happy. But I told them that I don’t have the idea of getting married now and silently slipped away from that place.”
